For categorization, I place event & wedding photography in two different silos, although there may be some glaring similarities. For the sake of simplicity, event photography are photos taken at big parties, banquets, & events with no formal ceremony involved.

I’m usually hired as an event photographybecause I try to find a way to blend in the crowd so that the big camera in my hand becomes secondary to the crowd. Attention is placed away from the camera, which allows me to capture the truly candid moments.
