I felt it would be suitable to add this photo to my online portfolio, since it is the highest viewed photo on my Flickr feed. The photo above was taken at my last vacation in the Philippines. My family went to my cousin’s wedding in Manila, then visited my mom’s family a few hours north of the big city.

My mom has a boatload of family that still live there. We went to visit my older cousin, who is a school teacher in my mom’s old hometown of Tarlac. Her students were very inviting, but my cousin was quite bashful during our visit. Very uncharacteristic, since she’s usually outspoken.
